About Brenda Lirola
A successful manager and educator with a broad spectrum of experience in finance and education, Brenda Lirola maintains a busy schedule while making time for volunteerism and service to a number of worthy charities. Ms. Lirola’s leadership capabilities and management skills served her well as a Vice President at Bank of New York in New York City. In that capacity, Ms. Lirola’s primary responsibilities focused on asset management.She is currently a general partner at Storm Heaven LP.
A capable and experienced teacher, Brenda Lirola has worked as an educator at schools across the United States. Those schools include New York City’s historic and academically acclaimed Trinity School, where she served as a history and political science teacher. Established in 1709, Trinity High School was initially created to provide free education to the children of poor families of the fledgling New York colony. Today, the 300-year-old school maintains an enrollment of approximately 950 students from kindergarten though 12th grade.
Brenda Lirola’s interests in quality education have prompted her to serve on the Parents Advisory Council and Parents Fund Council at Connecticut’s Choate Rosemary Hall, and on the Board of Trustees at Lycée Français de New York, a French language school in Manhattan. Ms. Lirola holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on history and political science from Wake Forest University, a small liberal arts college located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
As a volunteer with Heart’s Home USA, Brenda Lirola helped to raise funds for this network of volunteers who provide support and companionship to isolated and disadvantaged people around the world. She is also a member of the New York Junior League, a volunteer organization of women who work to improve the lives of communities, children and families.
